Our History

1874

The relationship between Masciantonio and “the green gold” is ancient; already way back in 1874 the family worked the olives.

1924

Paolo Masciantonio buys the olive farm - today Trappeto di Caprafico - not far away from Casoli, the “olive town, città dell´olio”.

1948

With the acquisition of the first presses, the olives are processed inside the company.

1966

The arable farmland is transformed into specialized olive plantations, preserving the ancient olive trees and introducing the main varieties Gentile di Chieti and Intosso (autochthonous varieties of Casoli).

today

The olive mill is working with respect for the tradition by using the best technical innovations. For us olive oil represents the bonds of our big family, a blood relationship transmitted from generation to generation.
